26 February 2017 - Glasgow

Torrential rain for most of the day so not many images and one time-lapse to show for it but despite the ice nucleation field giving us some frosty mornings, you can tell the overall temperature is much warmer and the cold feels very artificial, usually just the windchill effect of the ice nucleated air.

I wouldn't be surprised if they try to make it snow at some point this summer....
"I listen to people every day in the streets react in bewilderment over the bizarre weather. Yesterday it went from sunny to pouring and back in a ten minute span -- twice. It is 20 degrees colder in the 'shade' (ice-nucleated air) than it is when you are in the sun. You need a coat in the shade and a tank top in the sun... or more to the point -- you need radiation shielding in the sun..."
