Well well well, unfortunately I stopped taking the time-lapse video below not long after the fog descended but I wish I had continued filming.... just before the end of the video watch how the Nexrad phased array network uses massive frequency rotation to whip up the sky overhead and cause the fog to descend on us. I will now be filming more foggy days to see if we can see this in more detail...
